La Tercia is located close to the Valle del Sol, also known as the 'garden of Europe'. It nestles amongst the orange and lemon groves. It is a beautifully peaceful and picturesque area.
The area is famed for its selection of golf courses, nearby are the golf courses of La Torre, Mar Menor, El Valle, Hacineda Riquelme and Peraleja Golf resort.
In addition to golf, many other activities are available nearby, including boat charters, fishing trips, scuba-diving, windsurfing, water-skiing, sailing, therapeutic mud-baths & thermal springs, horseriding, nature reserves, aqua parks.
All the local towns and cities have weekly markets, and regular fiestas to enjoy. In addition to the cultural delights of Murcia and Cartagena, the lively holiday resorts of Torrevieja, Los Alcazares and La Manga are also easily reached for days or evenings out.
A short drive from the apartment is the local Village of Sucina, which offers restaraunts and bars. For a wider choice of restaurants any of the nearby coastal resorts should be visited, particularly if you like to eat fresh fish.

Roda Golf Club - Los Alcazares - Costa Calida
Roda Golf Course is the new, excellent 18 hole, par 72 golf course on the Mar Menor in Murcia, exclusively designed by Dave Thomas, one of the most prestigious European golf designers.
The layout was created by combining different environments, and working for a total adaptation to the Mediterranean landscape and vegetation. Roda Golf Club has only recently opened but is already the local golf topic of conversation.
An absolute must play, you will not be disappointed with this superb new golf course in Los Alcazares.

El Valle Golf Resort - Murcia - Costa Calida
Murcia and the Costa Calida region is starting to become known for the quality of its new golf courses. Hacienda del Alamo golf course is one of a number of excellent Murcia courses designed by Dave Thomas. The Hacienda del Alamo golf course is no less than 92 hectares and is wide, with long holes and many lakes.

The Mar Menor golf course is currently a 9-hole Dave Thomas design and is an ideal place to relax, practice and enjoy.
These current nine holes will be redesigned and expanded with another nine, under the supervision of Nicklaus Design, offering a total of 18 holes to be enjoyed by players of all levels, both the professional and the amateur.
